What does the American Flag pin on the lapel stand for? Is it anti-patriotic?
Lapel pin flags have only become popular after 9/11. All of a sudden there’s this psuedopatriotism associated with it. Real Veterans wear the stars and stripes in their hearts. The realest have it draped over their coffins.
How come it took Obama such a long time to wear the U.S. flag as a lapel pin? Suddenly a patriotic impulse?
