How to stop bobby pins from sliding out of my thin hair?
When i tie it up, wisps of shorter hair sometimes fall out. If i pin them with bobby pins the pins also tend to slide out after a bit (my hair is fine and thin) i think that is why.
Are there any other ways of putting hair up to keep these little bits in, or any good bobby pins that will work for me?

how do i tie a chignon?
I have straight and long hair (not very long, slightly more than 15cm past my shoulders). I think im supposed to twist my hair and then use bobby pins to secure it into a bun. Thats what I have gathered after reading websites and magazines. I have tried tying a chignon but it always turn out messy. Please give me some tips (: thank u!
This usually requires my full attention!
You have to keep the hair fairly tight as you twist to keep in any loose bits & it generally keeps it tidier.
When you’ve twisted it you do secure it with bobby pins, all the way down the length of the chignon & anywhere it feels loose!
To tidy up the messy bits lightly spray a comb with some firm hol hairspray & run it along the bits that are messy, it should tidy them up perfectly.
If there are still any lumpy, untidy bits just smooth them back & pin in place with a bobby pin again.
Spray your hair with firm hold hairspray to finish to keep it all in place.
Its also best to use bobby pins the same colour as your hair, I know you can pick up light & dark coloured ones from any chemist depending on if your hair is light or dark.

What do you use to tie back long hair when you wear a wig?
I have long hair (the middle of my back) and will be wearing a wig tomorrow, I dont get off work until late, so this needs to be something I can pick up at walmart or the grocery store, because then it’ll be at least 1am when I get out of here.

All I could think of was bobby pins and maybe a little vasaline for my bangs. The biggest problem will be keeping my bangs in.
use a stocking cap. (a small nylon cap that looks like a swimming cap) .
Put your hair in a braid, gel your bangs back and secure with a pin, then put on the cap. It’ll stay up without slipping out of your wig and it won’t look lumpy.

I do not own this picture, but came across it and thought I’d try to replicate it with my hair. I haven’t done anything with braids yet, so here it is!
If you have a lot of layers (like me) it’ll take you a while to pin down all the little pieces of hair standing up. I probably used about 10 bobby pins. The number of bobby pins you use will vary depending on your hair. This style isn’t very complicated, but it was pretty time consuming to me. It takes a good 10-12 minutes. But I thought it was different and something you’ll enjoy, so have fun with it!

Bobby Pins
Accesorized hair tie
one regular hair tie
two elastic bands (preferably clear)
Curler!
Straightener is optional.
