Where are most new Disneyland pins released?

I am going to Disneyland on March 29,2009 and on the Disney pin trading website it says a lot of new pins are released that day. I am just wondering where to go and what time I need to get there. There are pins with 500 edition sizes so please tell me I am an avid trader!!! HELP ME!!!!

The little green men store in Tomorrowland is the place to go, they sell Limited Edition Pins and Collectible Pins, as well as the Annual Passholder special Pins. If you are outside Disneyland sometimes the World of Disney Store in there Pin area has someone the ones I’ve looked for in the past. Also remember that on the Disney Pin Trader site http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pintrading/search/results?upcoming=true that you can also order them by clicking into it and emailing the place with your request, you could order a pin for WDW or Tokyo, anyway hope this helps and enjoy! *Jena

Is Pin Trading still big in Disney World?

It was when I worked there in 2004, is it still? I’m taking my family and want to let me kids trade some of my pins.

We were there last year and pin trading is going strong.
You can trade with any cast member. They have to trade any pin they are wearing-you get to choose the pin you take from them and the pin you give in return.

I have a question about a Disney World Pin Trading item.?

Does anyone know how much those big pin trading book holders are at Disney? We’re heading down to the World tomorrow and planning on getting one, and just wondering how much they are. Also, do they have them at the hotel gift shops, or do we need to plan to get it at one of the Pin Trading stores, like the Downtown Disney or EPCOT ones? Thanks for any help.

The pin bags I believe are about $30 (sorry, it’s been awhile since I bought one). The largest selection of the bags will be at the Pin Trader shops, but nearly all the stores inside the parks and in Downtown D will also have a selection of pins and books for purchase.

Is there a database of all pins where I can look up the ones I have and how much they’re worth? Also, how can you tell what kind of pin it is (ie: cast lanyard, hidden mickey, etc?) Thank you

The best site for this is http://www.pinpics.com It has a very good search function and can tell you the type of pin and the original sell price.

However, if you want to know what the "current value" is you need to look at a guide such as the Disneyanna Guide to Pin trading. It will have the current value, although even this may not be inaccurate as sometimes places like EBay can really skew prices on some pins.

Walt Disney World Pin Trading- how to say no to cast members?

I am going to Disney World next week, and my sister says it is really fun to trade pins, and that the Cast Members sometimes ask you if you want to trade pins. I was wondering, that if you don’t want to trade, how you would tell them you don’t want to trade. My sis said just to tell them you’re not interested, but I am really shy. Can you help??

I have never encountered a cast member who asked to trade, unless you were staring at their pins. If a cast member does happen to ask you, just say "No, thanks" and smile.

Where are all the pin trading books and boards in disney world?

There are books and bulletin boards in Disney world that have pins on them… there is a book at the Wilderness Lodge and a board at the Grand Floridian.They can have pins that you like that aren’t for sale anymore so they can be really helpful. Do you know of any?

Go to Downtown Disney-the biggest pin store is there. They have computers in the store for pins. and many people outside the store with large pin collections- that they trade
