It is a cavity for sure. If you have any kind of tooth sensitivity it is more then likely a cavity. Once you have a cavity started there is no fixing it unless it is in a dentist chair. You can't build up tooth enamel once it is gone. There is no way to tell if it is to late until the dentist takes a look at it.
