@Tootledim Glad you enjoyed the tutorial! I have not experimented with alcohol inks, but I would imagine before or after would work. I would just read the ink packaging carefully to make sure that heating it to 325 degrees won’t cause toxic fumes! Have fun : )

Hi Jessica – I find that using some type of bath powder (light coat) on the plastic before putting it in the oven helps to keep it from attaching to itself. Any excess can be wiped off afterwards.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, sometimes the plastic curls and becomes attached to itself. Sometimes this can be fixed, sometimes it can’t. The best bet is to let it un-attach while still in the oven, just being patient. If it is clear the plastic is stuck, remove it from the oven, let it cool for a few seconds, and then try un-attaching it. After unsticking, place it back in the oven and let it flatten out. Some pieces are more stubborn than others, and you may have to start again. Best of luck!

Great job, thanks for the video, but I’m french and I don’t understand the part When you explain in the oven, you say when the shrinky plastic Curls up and becomes attached. I can’t make big pieces cause The plastic deforms. I make only small pieces can you give me an advice for that please ?
