I dedicated 20 years of my life in the Navy, been to 3 wars and evrytime I look at that flag, it reminds me of the service members to sacrifice their lives so you can say things like that about our flag. i agree with you, but i don’t think it’s only the right wing (have the dems taken a real stand on any of these issues?). i fully expect obama to carry on with the war in spite of his impressive rhetoric — he works for the same people, after all: bankers, industrialists, etc — the real rulers of this country. even if obama wins, watch as we maintain a permanent presence, privatize iraqi oil, and make war against iran. i hope i’m wrong.
