Make your own 1920s inspired flapper coin purse with this DIY by Missa

This would be perfect to make for a formal occassion, like prom.

You’ll need:
-2 colors of satin material
-Needle/Thread &/or sewing machine
-Paper
-Scissors
-Ruler
-Fabric Pins
-Something thin for straps [ribbon]
-Small safety pin
-1920s style embellishment [fringe, beads, etc]

    I find it easier to sew it on after, just so I know the fringe won’t get caught in the seams of the fabric if I tried to sew the pieces together after putting the fringe on.

    But there’s not a wrong way to do it.
