Usually a ponytail with a scrunchie or a hair tie. I can never get the bun to stay up.

well,I have almost waist length hair,layered on top,and mostly wear a pony tail,using scrunchies, colorful bands,never rubber stuff, and sometimes I even wear braided pig tails,but use tiny bands or clips to hold them together at the ends...

in uk we call them a scrunchie its elastic inside covered with material that way it doesn't break your hair + you can wash them too

i use sticks, like the chinese, i hate having band lines in my hair, pins work well too,
